Salvation is not just about receiving Christ’s sacrifice, it creates a transformative effect, where the believer responds in turn. Christ saves, but for us to truly experience Him, we must surrender completely.
It’s easy to say, “I’m sold out for Christ,” but true surrender goes beyond words; it is demonstrated through action. Christ expressed His love for us through His sacrifice on the cross (Romans 5:8). Just like any relationship, love must be reciprocated. In a healthy relationship, one partner’s love is met with a response from the other. Likewise, our relationship with God thrives when we actively express our love for Him through obedience and total yieldedness.

Jesus Himself said, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me” (Luke 9:23). This is the essence of total surrender, saying, “Lord, I will do anything to be where You are.” It is a life laid down. It is fully yielded to God’s will. Christ yielded to the Father in Gethsemane (Luke 22:42).
True salvation leads to transformation. As we surrender completely, we begin to experience the fullness of God’s presence and walk in intimate relationship with Him.
